Magnet DC Motor
Magnet DC Motors are radially magnetized and are fixed on the inner margin of the cylindrical steel stator. The stator provided in these motors work as the return trail for the magnetic flux. The blade has a DC framework, with brushes as well as commutator segments. These motors have the benefit of: quick starting, higher starting torque, and stopping, backing, variable speeds with voltage response and they are simpler and inexpensive to control than AC. The speed of Magnet DC Motors can be controlled over an extensive range, employing either a variable supply voltage or by varying the power of current in its field windings.
